International Pianist Dmitry Shishkin’s Tour de France
Tipped by Gramaphone as one to watch, Dmitry Shishkin came to the attention of many when he won second prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2019. Previously, he has won the 2018 Geneva International Music Competition and was a finalist in the 2015 International Chopin Piano Competition.
Since then, the Russian pianist has performed with major orchestras in his homeland including the Moscow State Symphony and Moscow Philharmonic. Besides performing at home, he has also been performing extensively around the globe, including countries such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Austria, Bulgaria, Poland, Japan, China, and South Korea.
This month, we see Shishkin return to a tour of France with four recitals lined up, including a live broadcast performance with Radio France. Below are details of all the concerts.
