Contemporary classical string quintet, Wooden Elephant has been confirmed as one of the lineups for the Nordlys Festivalen 2022. Made up of five members from five different countries, the pan-European ensemble has released a 3-album series, comprising of Björk's Homogenic (2017), Radiohead's Kid A (2018), and Beyoncé's Lemonade (2019).
Wooden Elephant have performed their albums at venues and festivals such as Berlin Konzerthaus, Philharmonie de Paris’ Days Off Festival, London Jazz Festival, Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, and Beethovenfest Bonn. With Radiohead’s permission, Wooden Elephant recently released an acoustic version of Kid A on Berlin label Backlash Music. The ground-breaking ensemble will present Radiohead’s piece at the Nordlys Festivalen.
