Luca Ballabio conducts the Orchestra della Toscana

alongside his work as principal conductor and artistic director of the filarmonica ettore pozzoli, luca ballabio has been invited to conduct the renowned orchestra della toscana this month

Luca Ballabio’s recent concert with the Filarmonica Ettore Pozzoli orchestra, of which he is principal conductor and artistic director, celebrated Italian opera and the Belcanto genre. Titled ‘Gran Gala dell’Opera’, the performance showcased both music by famous operatic composers, including Verdi, Bellini and Donizetti, as well as the talents of the Ettore Pozzoli Musical Cultural Association’s vocal course that supports young professional opera singers. At the end of June, Luca Ballabio will direct the Orchestra della Toscana in a series of three concerts, performing works by Prokofiev, Haydn, and Mozart. The young Italian conductor will travel with the orchestra to three intimate and beautiful venues in the Tuscan countryside where they will perform late-night concerts under the stars.
