Johanna Malangré announces the programme for her first season as chief conductor with the Orchestra de Picardie
The new season of the Orchestre de Picardie, under the direction of Johanna Malangré, has been unveiled and for the 22/23 season the theme will be ‘Nature’
Taking inspiration from the beautiful wilderness found in the region of Hauts-de-France where the orchestra is based, the season is broken down into seven programmes: "Forest", "Water", "Birds", "Death", "Cosmos", "Earth" and "Light".
Renowned international soloists such as the outstanding cellist Bruno Philippe and the mezzo-soprano Anna Harvey will be invited, as well as conductors such as the young Iranian conductor Hossein Pishkar and Reinhard Goebel.
