SPLENDORS OF ROMAN POLYPHONY


Invited once again by Insula orchestra, the conductor Leonardo García Alarcón reveals in this concert several treasures of Roman polyphony from the 17th and 18th centuries . In the company of accentus and Cappella Mediterranea, he mixes Allegri's famous Miserere with rarer but equally sumptuous pieces by Alessandro Scarlatti or other Italian composers of Baroque music.
