Album featuring Reginald Mobley receives Grammy nomination
Tenor Brian Giebler’s debut album, “A Lad’s Love”, has been nominated for a Grammy award for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album. Released with Bridge Records, the album features an array of English songs from the early 20th century, with Countertenor Reginald Mobley singing Britten’s “Canticle II” as son to the father played by Brian.
“[Reginald and Brian] bring fervent drama to these roles and merge voices to celestial effect as God.”
