Wooden Elephant is a contemporary classical string quintet that reimagines classic electronic-based albums and presents them in their entirety as acoustic, long-form contemporary classical concert works. Working alongside experimental genre-bending PODIUM Festival Esslingen (Germany), the boundary-pushing ensemble has completed a 3-album series, comprising Björk's Homogenic (2017), Radiohead's Kid A (2018), and Beyoncé's Lemonade (2019). They are currently working on their version of Aphex Twin’s Drukqs alongside prepared piano-specialist Mathias Halvorsen.
