The Prizewinners of the Concours International de Quatuors à Cordes de Bordeaux 2022 perform across Europe in an exciting array of concerts

 
 
 
 

fOLLOWING A NUMBER OF SUCCESSFUL CONCERTS THROUGHOUT EUROPE, THE THREE QUARTETS continue to perform at a range of high-profile venues

In May 2022, Leonkoro Quartet (1st Prize), Chaos String Quartet (2nd Prize), and Barbican Quartet (3rd Prize) competed in the final of the Concours International de Quatuors à Cordes de Bordeaux 2022. As part of the winner’s prize, the Leonkoro Quartet will be managed by CLB Management until August 2024. In the case that they should not be able to make concerts offered to them, the Chaos Quartet and Barbican Quartet also receive opportunities to perform.

Over the course of the past few months, the three quartets have performed in a variety of venues and countries, including the Louisiana Museum in Denmark, the Proquartetto Festival in Tournai, and the Beethoven Festival in Beaune. Next month the Barbican Quartet and Leonkoro Quartet will perform in both France and the UK, the latter concert taking place at the renowned Norfolk and Norwich Festival. The festival is one of England’s longest running arts festivals and runs a commendable programme of creative engagement aimed at inspiring the younger generation.
