Sarah Gilford makes her return to the Bayerische Staatsoper for their 2022/23 season

CLB Management is happy to announce Sarah Guilford’s return to the Bayersiche Staatsoper for the 2022/23 season.

From 2019 to 2021, Sarah was a member of the prestigious Opernstudio at the Bayerische Staatsoper, where most notably she sang the title role in Thomas’ Mignon (Cuvilliés Theatre), Giannetta in L’Elisir d’Amore, Taumännchen in Hänsel und Gretel, and Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro among other appearances.

In September of this year she will appear as Second Niece in Stephen Herheim’s production of Peter Grimes alongside Jonas Kaufmann, Rachel Willis-Sørensen and Susan Bickley.

She will then appear as Hase (Hare) in the premiere of a new children’s opera by Richard Whilds, Der Mondbar in March, 2023.
