Rebecca Leggett tours internationally with Les Arts Florissants in the summer
This summer, Le Jardin des Voix will bring Purcell's The Fairy Queen back on stage in numerous cities in Europe and America. The production, which features a new staging and choreography by Mourad Merzouki, will be conducted by William Christie and Paul Agnew and will showcase the talents of the 8 laureates selected for this 11th edition of the academy.
Rebecca Leggett will perform alongside the other 7 singers from the Les Arts Florissants Academy, hailing from the USA, Canada, France, Lithuania, and Portugal.
The Fairy Queen production will have its world premiere at the opening of the Festival Dans les Jardins de William Christie in Thiré, Vendée on August 19 and 20, 2023. Following the premiere, the production will then embark on an international tour, with performances scheduled at the Philharmonie de Paris and other venues in the Pays de la Loire region during the 2023-24 season.
