Les Argonautes open the Agapé festival in Geneva, performing Handel’s Dixit Dominus
LES ARGONAUTES HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED AS ONE OF clb’S NEW ARTISTS AND WILL OPEN THE AGAPé FESTIVAL LATER THIS WEEK
Les Argonautes is a baroque music ensemble set up by Jonas Descotte, based in Geneva. A relatively new group, the ensemble has only been performing together for four years but has already performed widely. This week, the group will open the Agapé Festival in Geneva, a five-day event celebrating baroque music. The ensemble will perform their Dixit Dominus programme, which features not only Handel’s work of the same name, but also Lotti’s Dixit Dominus and Miserere Mei.
