Trio sonatas by Antonio Vivaldi, Giovanni Battista Reali, Tomaso Albinoni and Giorgio Gentili.
Led by the talented Justin Taylor on harpsichord and Théotime Langlois de Swarte on violin, the ensemble Le Consort explores the Venetian trio sonata. This new program mirrors Vivaldi's sonatas (including the famous Follia ) and the lesser-known ones of Giovanni Battista Reali. They set to music a fruitful dialogue in the upper spheres between two violins competing in virtuosity and expressiveness.
