Le Consort performs latest CD ‘Specchio Veneziano’ in France and the UK

Le Consort to make UK Debut

Le Consort is led by the talented harpsichordist Justin Taylor and accomplished violinist Théotime Langlois de Swarte on violin, the ensemble explores the Venetian trio sonata. This new program mirrors Vivaldi's sonatas (including the famous Follia ) and the lesser-known ones of Giovanni Battista Reali. They set to music a fruitful dialogue in the upper spheres between two violins competing in virtuosity and expressiveness.

After the successful release of Specchio Veneziano, with Alpha Classics, the latest album has been awarded the Diapason d’Or and named top 10 classical albums for November 2021 by Apple Music. In celebration of the album release, Le Consort will present a selection of the album in Salle Cortot, Paris, and later make their United Kingdom debut at the Assembly Hall in the Chichester Festival Theatre.
