Gwendoline Blondeel and Lauren Lodge-Campbell are to appear at the Beaune Festival this July
Two of CLB’s artists, Lauren Lodge-Campbell and Gwendoline Blondeel will appear at this year’s Beaune Festival for Baroque and Romantic Opera. This year the festival celebrates it’s 40th anniversary.
Gwendoline Blondeel appears in three operas across the festival. Firstly she will perform the role of Euridice in Monteverdi’s ‘L’Orfeo’ with Les Epopées Orchestra and Stephane Fuget.
Next she takes on the role of Elvira in Rossini’s ‘L’Italiana in Algeri’ with the Matheus Orchestra and Namur choir under the direction of Jean-Christophe Spinosi.
Finally she appears as the Queen in Handel’s ‘Solomon’ with the Namur Choir, Millenium Orchestra and Leonardo Garcia Alarcon.
Lauren Lodge-Campbell will appear with the Gabrieli Consort under the baton of Paul McCreesh, in Purcell’s ‘King Arthur’.
