Diana Soh's new work "I forget to remember" to be premiered by five festivals in France
Diana Soh’s new work "I forget to remember," is a unique project—a collection of five compositions with various instrumentations conceptualized at the request of the 5 Alps Festival Network. Each piece is approximately 12 minutes long and can be performed individually or layered on top of one another.
Inspired by the specificities of each festival and the locations in which they take place, Soh aims to create a piece that is tailored to each festival while also serving as a unifying force for all five festivals in the Savoie region.
Each festival will premiere one of the compositions with a specific instrumentation, which will later be combined into a larger whole. Additionally, there is potential for various permutations of the works with different combinations of instrumentations, although these arrangements are yet to be determined.
