Despite his young age, Belgian tenor Maxime Melnik has already worked with conductors such as René Jacobs, Christophe Rousset, Leonardo García Alarcón, and Speranza Scappucci.

The 2020/21 Season will see Maxime appear as Bastien in a tour of Mozart Bastien und Bastienne with Orchestre de Picardie, followed by a tour of Bach Cantata BWV 201 in June. On the opera stage, Maxime will sing Nathanaël in Les Contes d’Hoffmann at Opéra Royal Wallonie, where later in the year he will perform the solo tenor in Orff’s Carmina Burana under the direction of Alberto Veronesi.

Future engagements will see him appearing as Monostatos in Die Zauberflote at Festival de Beaune and in several roles both at La Monnaie and Opéra Royal de Wallonie, where he will debut a major Rossini role.
